UB ResearchOnline - Copyright information
Will publication in the UB ResearchOnline mean I am unable to publish in peer-reviewed print journals?
Many researchers have concerns about whether publication in an institutional repository will contravene copyright agreements with their publishers,
or impact on their ability to publish in peer review print journals. In recognition of this, a number of initiatives are underway to document the
publishing policies of major publishers both here in Australian and overseas. The best known of these projects is the UK JISC funded
Sherpa/Romeo project, which allows you to search across both journal and publisher and determine
whether archiving in a repository is allowable and at what level (pre or post print or not at all).
